SCARBOROUGH DECORATIVE AND FINE ARTS SOCIETY

Scarborough Decorative and Fine Arts Society (SDFAS) is a member of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies.  NADFAS was formed to bring together people interested in the decorative and fine arts, who wished to hear beautifully illustrated lectures from experts, to visit museums, galleries, historic houses and gardens, and to increase and broaden their knowledge of art in all respects.

In April 2002 Scarborough Decorative and Fine Arts Society hosted the National Annual General Meeting of NADFAS at the Scarborough Spa with over 800 delegates from all over the UK and overseas.

Scarborough DFAS celebrated its 21st birthday in April 2004 in great style with an evening’s entertainment at the celebrated Stephen Joseph Theatre.
