with finger buffet and music of 40’s style repertoire at the Scarborough Art Gallery Thursday 2nd September 2010 from 7 p.m. - 10p.m. Dear Friend, I think you may know by now that Rose Povey has resigned from your Committee due to ill health. Because of her outstanding service to the Friends your Committee has decided to confer an Honorary Membership on her. Over the period Rose has served on your Committee she has raised thousands of pounds for the Friends. Her dedication as Secretary and her skill as Trip Organizer really have to be admired. Rose wore those two hats brilliantly with never a grumble but only a gracious smile. Both Rose and your Committee would like to make this Celebration Evening a fundraising Event. The proceeds from the Event will go towards the production of the Storm Force exhibition ( Saturday 2nd October - Sunday 28th November 2010). The cost of the Celebration Evening will be £12 per head which will include a glass of wine or soft drink. I would like to invite YOU to celebrate this occasion with us and help make the evening a very special one for Rose. Enquiries to email
